Hey everyone. The count down continues. We now only have 99 more days till we are off to Africa!!!! Time goes by so fast. I want to remind you to be in prayer now for the trip. Pray for our preparations. Pray for unity of our group. Pray for all the funds to come in. Pray for our garage sale. Pray for the kids we will be touching. Pray for those who's lives we will be coming in contact with . Above all Pray for God's will for us and this trip. Prayer is the most powerful gift we have.

Please start collecting things for our garage sale. Mike and Kari have room at their garage to store stuff. Since this is where we are having the garage sale it is perfect. Thanks Mike and Kari!!

Jennifer Hatley is in town to help plan her daughters wedding. She will be coming to church with me soon. I will let everyone know when she will be there so you can meet her. She is an amazing person. You can see her heart for Jesus and the children of CMIA.

Ok, here is the summary of our meeting on March 4th…..

After praying together we welcomed 4 new team members….

We talked about the requirement of reading Foreign to Familiar: I want everyone on the team to read it before we go!!

We also went over each aspect of ministering and what will be needed:
Kisingoo school: popsicle sticks, markers, verses, string and pollarded film.
Mikindu Girls Home: Fashion show, fun clothes, jewelry and scarves/wraps
Langata Home: Tie Dye shirts: white tea shirts and tie dye goods

In each meeting we cover a lot. So please remember it is VERY important not to miss any meetings.

Since then we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. For we do not have a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weeknesses, but one who has been tempted in all things as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore draw near with confidence to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and may find grace to help in time of need. -Hebrews 4:14-16

We have our next meeting this Sunday at 1:30. Please remember that the place has change to my house. We will be going over what we need for our trip.

Are you collecting for the garage sale???? We will go over the dates at our meeting.

Remember the deadlines... April 15 you'll need to have $2000 to me, either in support or personal money. May 31 I need your entire $3500. THAT'S 44 DAYS!!! Don't let that scare you, many of you are right on track!! Why do we need to have everything in so early you may ask? I need to wire the money to David, then David needs to get all of our reservations made at our hotels, transportation, etc. That takes time and of course the earlier you do it the better rate you get.

WE LEAVE IN ONLY 124 MORE DAYS!!! it will go by fast....
