The gang has arrived on the savannah of the Maasai Mahi. They are staying in the Keekerek Lodge. The area is very peaceful with wandering hippos going by the windows in their rooms. Monkeys love the new company and "visit" whoever leaves a door open. Those forgotten oranges are quite a treat. Everyone is feeling well and really enjoying the food, especially the vegetables. They did find out that vegetables there are like prunes here! They went out on a safari today and saw many different animals, including lions, zebras, water buffalo and more. Tonight a feast, then a nature walk. Tomorrow a visit to the Maasai village and another safari. It is hard to believe that they will be back in Washington in just three days.
